Clazzio leather seat covers!

Leaving the seats in gives you more leverage. Sliding those covers over the seats is a pain in the ass. I think taking them out would make installing the covers more difficult. Just my 2 cents.

 

My covers landed on my front porch yesterday and of course I was not expecting them! So I was busy and of course it’s been raining all day :-( I have no garage!

 

I took mine out, so much easier. My Son and I did his truck first, then my set came in later. We added heated seat kits and I strongly encourage you to take them out. You can tighten the front seats better and make the fit a lot better looking.

 

Looks great. How did you go about taking the plastic off the rear of the back seats? Could you take some pics and circle the screws that need to be removed?

 

Is this the black/dark gray combo with the dark gray stitching?

 

No. This is the dark gray, light gray combo with light gray stitching.

 

I can try to get some pictures when I get home from work later. Should just be a few clips and screws along the bottom. You should see one screw and there is one hidden under the plastic cover near each hinge. You can see one of the hinge covers off in my photo.

 

How did u get the black plastic cover off those rear seats. Can’t find any screws or clips. Thanks

 

On my 2020 there are screws under the plastic covers for the hinges and one in the center bottom. On the smaller flip down seat there were only the hinge screws no center.

 

Fill me in on removing the rear seat back panels. So you take the panels off install the seat cover, then put the panels back on? I can see how that would be a cleaner installation. Does it fit correctly?

 

Fits ok, but you have to cut holes in the covers for the plastic seat back clips to poke back through.

 

Finally got mine installed love them!

I posted this in another thread, figure it's worth posting here too for anyone scratching their head on how to get the plastics off. Super easy once you see it. I couldn't find all the screws at first. There are 3 on the passenger side seat, 2 on the driver side. Relevant part is at the 1:00 mark:

G'luck with the center console cover... I ended up having to take the lid off to put the Clazzio cover on it THEN put it back together. You already know this, but just take your time and be patient.
