mine always went up but one or another would bind occassionally depending on how level trusk was or what i had on the roof- ie how many kayaks and how balanced. try this when going to lower them push in (towards center of truck) and with a slight upward pressure as you start lowering the shell - in my case that would get it started with the others and then once it is going you can let go and it will continue lowering. Mine were level to but because of this binding i switched to a wireless remote so i could lower the shell if one of the front ones bound and i was by myself. hope this helps - i dont have them anymore but i did like them.

tbird- just reread your last post and you mentioned the shell is off if there is no load on the actuator it should go down just like the others even if not parrell. try turning the post a revolution or two and then see if it moves otherwise i would say you have something wrong iwth that lift- call topper ezlift- great support

I second both of @Flyguy01 's comments. Try pushing on the topper while letting it down to see if something is off balance. If the actuator will not come down even with the topper disconnected we seem to have a real problem and want to get it fixed as quickly as possible for you.

Just got my EZ lift in yesterday and plan on installing it this weekend pending weather. Has anyone installed one on a dcsb?

Haven’t done it yet, pulled off my Icons to get rebuilt first. I’m going to try and do a write up on it when I do it.

How well you guys think these will work with a go fast camper really want to try it out and see what happens but figure I should get some input from ppl who already own it before spending that kind of money on a gamble mainly asking the 425 guy I believe you're a representing the company

What would the end goal be with that? The gfc already provides enough standing headroom?

I don’t think it’s a great idea, as this system wasn’t designed for a dynamic load when lifted. If you are in the upper bunk on the gfc moving around, etc it could cause issues.

I see I was hoping to try and get head room without having to take apart the bed and just be able to stand up in the bed. Having the bed on top and aceess to the full space on the bottom to set it up

gotcha - go for it, but seems like an expensive solution to not move a few bed panels :)

There’s another thread where 4 actuators were used in conjunction with square tube guides to raise an RTT on a trailer or you could use heavy duty drawer slides in parallel for stability.

Hi guys, sorry for the delay. Things have been pretty crazy lately and I really only help Topperlift out periodically. I would be cautious to recommend the topperlift for a go fast camper. If you were to do it I would recommend mounting the actuators on the front of the bed (cab side) for the fromt instead of the bedside. But overall the offset of the bed would be a big concern at full extension on the actuators.

You got pics of how/where you mounted the velcro on the lower cabside? My 11 taco lb has zero room above the track system and below the track is not flat just like the bed itself (ridged).

I mounted mine on the flat part of the track itself. Not really ideal and I think I may take the cabside track off and remount since I don't use it at all.
