Doesn't look like it has the hub for the wheel to sit on.... These trucks are designed to put their weight on the hubs rather than relying on the clamping force of the lugs. That type of setup is what can cause that infamous spacer failure. If you're only riding around town it's probably fine.

I think the fit will ultimately come down to the offset of your stock rims. I can't remember if the offset is 0 or +25, but if its +25 it'll probably work, especially if you have a lift. Just might have to do a little trimming.

hub centric is my understanding- it’s the spidertrax kit I believe so I also do t believe that statement is correct on “these are the cause of the infamous spacer failure” I’m pretty sure that bad rap originated from an actual spacer that would use original studs and limit the threads. I thought these were technically adapters? Also failures with these are more than likely install error- broken studs due to over torque

my terminology could be incorrect but there is also a more recent thread that kinda debunks all that… @stun gun it didn’t take long (at least it wasn’t a new thread right)

added for clarification: the tag was more for correcting my wording used and not to gang up and the last part was more of a statement I made… like the inside joke that nobody remembers but me

I've had the spacers installed for a year now and have had no issue.

The only issue I have had is with my winter tires on steel rims. Got a bit of rubbing on the mud flaps when turning. I will resolve that shortly by upgrading the front shocks with Bilstein 5100s and going up 1x notch from stock height.

Yeah! That's the word. You're right about the ones using the original studs being bad--they can have less thread engagement. And the ones that give longer studs are susceptible to more failures as they have a greater ability to stretch when torqued. But it seems you've done your research, so you know what you've got on your hands. You'll have a mean-lookin truck

Install was simple, Everything is plug and play. I had a hiccup on running the cables from back to front as I usually do. In this case one of the plugs didn’t fit through the under cab grommet hole into the cab. Make sure to run that harness front to back. All in all, about 1hr.

Dear owner of a 3rd gen MGM dcsb with a color matched camper whom was driving on hwy 16 thru Gorst to Port Orchard, when you downshifted tryna show off instead of 4th I think you hit 2nd causing your wheels to lock up and do a 180 and damn near collide with me. I hope you took my kind words of wisdom and made it home safely.

Where did you buy this grill? I wonder if it works with the safety sense on the 2020’s.

Not with you on the doing that without thing but I'm right there with you on the rest of it. I prefer doing my own. Gets me under the truck at every 5k to do it and while there it prompts me to take a look around since I'm there anyway.
Going to places like (fictitious name) Spiffy Lube just ain't happening.

False. If you pull the seats, the headliner will come out through the back doors. It's a tight fit, but it will come out.

Personally, I found deadening the doors to be more tedious and troublesome than the roof. I did the job over the course of several weeks so I could see (hear) how much of a difference each zone makes. Bottom line is, if you've done all the other areas, you really should do the roof. It made a noticeable difference. Also, get some adhesive bulb type wearherstrip for the bottom edge of the doors. Its amazing how much wind noise you get down there, and it also keep dirt from migrating up between the doors and the body.
