Finally dipped the wheels.

 

Another nice 70's day so did some head and tail lens polish and protectant. Also removed rock guard and mud flaps even tho we got snow last week. Also fired up the Ranger.

 

That's the way to jumpstart the economy!

Great pics. Can you tell me how far out the ball mount with shock installed is from the body panel where it mounts on the driver's side?

 

Don’t know at moment. Will have to measure tomorrow. My guess would be an inch total.
Measured today and it's about 1 1/2 inches from fender to outside of strut.

 

I need recommendations on lighting for the bed. It's too dark back there with the tonneau cover...

I installed 3 light pods on each side, 4 blue and 2 white.

This took some time due to the COVID19 stuff, but I finally got this working. I leveraged the ABC camera, but added two more channels. Designed my own PCB and modded the Rear/Front switch that comes with the ABC kit so only 1 LED comes on at a time.

I just need to finalize the mounts and camera position and call it done!

you think, but probably a bit of both. salesmen don't make much commish on low margin deals, but the dealership likely gets plenty in kickbacks from the mfg for volume.
