What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

This is what I did to my box to light things up.
I installed 3 light pods on each side, 4 blue and 2 white.

This took some time due to the COVID19 stuff, but I finally got this working. I leveraged the ABC camera, but added two more channels. Designed my own PCB and modded the Rear/Front switch that comes with the ABC kit so only 1 LED comes on at a time.

I just need to finalize the mounts and camera position and call it done!

you think, but probably a bit of both. salesmen don't make much commish on low margin deals, but the dealership likely gets plenty in kickbacks from the mfg for volume.

 

How much difference is there in noise when you do the roof?

Not much in the front if you have a sunroof.

I only did a single layer of the spray when I should of done 3 layers, but there was a change in the sound of rain hitting the roof, also the blowers at the car wash no longer make the roof wiggle like Shakira in 2001. I play to add a 150mil layer of foam up there this summer.

Added in a XenonDepot HID conversion kit. But realized I accidentally bought the 3000k bulbs.
