Hey man, I was scrolled all through what I can found on Old man Emu and Toytec, and yet I didn't find anything good that make me feeling strongly to pick which sets. Therefore, Im trying to reaching out who have sets of OMM or Toytec BOSS lift kits. Whats your opinions on either one?

in future, I'm planning to add front winch and winch bumper- Slimline bumper stage 2. Therefore, what's your best opinions with those kits and my projects?

    Thanks guys.

I would compare the regular OME kits with the Toytec kit. The BP51 is a much nicer kit and would do BP51 over Toytec. However, I would personally do Kings or Foxes or ADS over BP51 (for around the same cost). I have the BP51 on my 2016 4Runner and Kings on my 2020 Tacoma.

Would it handle heavy load well? Because sometime I use that truck for heavy load such as tiles and hardwood.

Just make sure you get appropriate springs. You can get heavy duty springs like the OME Dakars, Dobinsons, or get some Alcans or Deavers made up. For the front, again, just make sure you get appropriate springs, standard springs are usually 600lb-700lb. It'll be no different for any lift.

I've been running ome bp-51 for 30k miles and have a lot of weight . Especially with the rooftop tent, winch, and when camping a fully loaded camper. This suspension has fit my needs and I've tweaked them over the past few years through weight changes and such by adjusting preload and aal's. I have no comparison to toytec though. Mine runs relatively smooth when driving fast through rough terrains. I suggest purchasing during a big holiday is that's how I found a great deal.

How much preload are you running? I'm running the same suspension, rear is good, but the front end has always been minimal lift, even with 27mm of preload... may need to go more. I have a low-pro C4 fab front bumper, 10k winch, Full BAMF Skids and Sliders (porky), and dual Northstar Batteries.... Its a helluva lot of weight up front.

Let me get back with you. I know I posted it on another thread somewhere. I took the suspension in and out a few times, adjusted preload, and added a spacer to one side to get it perfectly where I wanted it. Now I'm even side to side and relatively even all around even with the tent on the back.
