Not good with owls, so I had to google that one. I’ll wait until someone can recognize off the top of their head.

I could guess but it would be a guess. I Googled the last answer, nothing wrong with doing the research. I say throw your educated guess out there....

Throw a word in front of screech owl and you got it.

    Hint on the WEST coast.

Close, but not quite. I don't think these birds come all the way up to your neck of the woods.

US only, no more Polish birds. I took this in the US, 2015.

Next bird. Here's kind of a difficult shot of it. One of my favorite birds!

I'm a confessed bird nerd myself. I live in the northeast corner of Pennsylvania and have never seen a Hooded Warbler. I did a job in Poinsett SC last year and was able to get in a walk at a state park and saw my first one. I'll start spending lots of time in the woods in a few weeks when the migrating starts passing thru. Warblers are my favorite birds to watch.

You have a backyard list going? My wife is from SE Pennsylvania, too. Edit: Hooded warbler was correct! That was taken in Georgia, mid-May.

    Here's the next:

Western Tanager. I have the Audubon App on my phone. I have a list on the app itself. I knew it was some sort of Tanager, just didn't know the correct name. We get a lot of Scarlets here in Spring and summer. I feed from November till the end of April or so. Watching birds is sort of like therapy for me. It's calming to say the least.

Brown Creeper? I saw few of those in eastern georgia a while back.

It's very calming, and a quick hobby that you can do easily anywhere, really. Also, that's a beautiful picture.
