Contacted The Retrofit Source, these guys are the greatest, got right on my problem got it squared away quickly had a replacement light on the way pronto, didn't get to install till this week end. They even emailed me a label to cover return shipping which will happen tomorrow. Can't say enough Good about these guys. Thanks to TRS very much, will defently be a repeat costumer.

Seems like these should be $600 max considering all the issues in this thread.

I'm a little late to the party as I've been working on another one of my cars for the past 6 months. Just installed morimotos in my Tacoma and Civic Type R all within the last week. Just did height adjustments tonight. I found the correct adjustment screw picture on the morimoto website which helped a lot with dialing in the highs and lows.

Hey everyone, I am having a hell of a time removing the bumper cover. Maybe I'm just not applying enough force, but is there a clip or something on the bumper cover corner right under the headlight? Or is there some trick to getting it off? I wrestled with it (pictured) for an hour until I decided I didn't want to break anything and put everything back together and gave up for the night.

Nice looking truck! Is that the SSO bumper? and is that the KD Links camera?

Did you already undo the bolts and clips under the fender flare and pull the flare away which included popping off the blue and orange clips. Once those are done the fender can be pulled away with some force and using a trim tool to remove from the black piece under at 3 points. Then that black piece has one 10mm bolt that needs to removed to free the headlight. I'm pretty sure there's youtube vids... I've done it a few times with other headlights so already knew the tricks. Good luck.

Are the front 3 clips on the flairs popped out? I just can’t tell from the pic. And they require a good amount of pressure...start at the bottom and push out. It’ll probably scare you when it finally lets go!! Ha! Then work your way up.

Sso bumper yes. And an APEMAN camera. Thanks for the compliment. I have a lot of custom stuff I did to the truck both that are common but a lot that are my own design. My truck is actually on a number of websites. For example Mesos and Caliraised just to name a couple but there are several others out there.

Yes, I should have pointed all that out. Everything was was popped out, etc...i just couldn't get the very top directly under the headlight to come out and was afraid of breaking something

They aren't in the picture because at that point I had put it all back together, but yes they were. So i need to push out on the fender from the inside?

yes, there are two little plastic shields on both sides on the inside, remove the clips on those and pull them, you should be able to reach your arm all the way down with them out of the way. I just pushed on the bottom and when it popped, I worked my way up.

Are you referring to the shields by the grill? Those have been removed. So you just pushed out on the fender/bumper cover?

Thanks, I was able to see where i was screwing up. I ended up breaking one of the pinch clips on the passenger side not realizing what it was, but if nothing else, I'll order that piece if it causes any issues. One more question, i want to do the sequential turns but I don't want to just leave the plug hanging exposed. Anybody have a suggestion? Electric tape maybe?

. I used electric tape as I've done on many unused plugs. But I guess heat strink in a large diameter could also work.

Are you concerned at all with it getting it all gummed up?

Never had an issue so far. Key is to buy some good quality stuff.
