Since I'm working again, i decided to treat myself to a couple of new upgrades for the truck:

    tacoma beast headlights
    Screenshot_20200413-002119_Gallery.jpg

And an all black climate control.
I plan on swapping out the rings and buttons or figuring out a way to get an adapter. The next step towards deleting all of the ugly silver interior.

I'll be posting my previous OPT7 headlights up in the for sale section soon if anyone is interested.

Take care of each other out there :headbang:

Headlights plug and play? My stock ones are very hazy and cracked. They aren’t leaking yet, but I know it’s a matter of time.

Wow! Just noticed it's been discontinued. I contacted Bel Ray and asked why. This product was that good!

Give this stuff a try. I loved this stuff when I had my honda shadow. Leaves plastic nice and shiny without any oily residue.

I have the towing package with the 130A alternator. I've always had a 27F battery in it.
So it shouldn't be a problem?

this is some good info...I run 2 Odessey's, and after replacing the fuseto the diode/fuse my cold alt output is around 14.7/14.8 VDC, and as everything warms up drops back to 14.4VDC.

I did notice that after doing the change my cold start battery voltage was myuch happier, 12.8 VDC or so...I have the same pckge....130A etc.....

this has a small amount of organic solvents in per the MSDS I wud wear gloves etc....
you can use the MSDS to look up any chemical you purchase, a lot of good info provided, rather then the marketing BS ...
no not a tree hugger etc, but everyone should be aware of what they are using and the risks over a lifetime of exposure....

I actually had a cart full of stuff ordered from Amazon but when I got the conformation email from them, the delivery was 5/15/20. So I canceled the order and stopped by O'Reilly Auto Parts on Lunch. They were over priced and didn't have the specific stuff I wanted, but at least it gave me a project for the weekend. Yea I could feel my fingers pretty well, they are highly trained from 20 years on the electric AXE.:D:rofl::headbang:

Those clay mitts look nice. Ill have to try that down the road. I need to do my wifey's burb next!

If you need to drive it, or you want to put off fixing it for a minute you can by pass the AC compressor. I ran mine for 3 months like this. I ended up replacing the clutch assembly, but I kept the shorter belt in the truck as a back up in case I ever throw a belt.

    The stock belt is 83.5"

To bypass the AC compressor you will need an 80" 7 groove belt.
