Hey all, seems i've been neglecting this thread awhile. Had to read a few pages to catch up!

Yesterday, the wife and I decided to finally carpet the walls of our Habitat. Originally I had wanted to do it to velcro stuff to the walls for extra storage/organization, but with the 6 milk crates we use for our floor, we really don't have much that doesn't have a place.

What do you guys have velcro'd to the carpeted walls?

I've got a first aid kit and some pouches from BROG with the Velcro. In one of the pouches I keep some extra USB cables by the outlets on my habitat.

I was thinking of doing this. How has the velcro held up over time? Has getting wet or being in the sun been an issue?

I've got a velcro pouch sitting in the garage currently, but for the life of me I don't know what I'd want/need to put in it, lol. The USB cords aren't a bad idea, but I usually just grab the ones outta my truck cab once we get setup.

I haven’t had any issues with it so far.

I believe this is what I bought. Just wrapped the spikey one around the supper poles in 2-3 places.
    https://www.homedepot.com/p/VELCRO-...ustrial-Strength-Extreme-Tape-91843/205185844

On occasion I’d have a support pole fall off the ledge. Since doing this they haven’t moved even on the roughest Of roads

I have a CO2 monitor velcroed up. Also a few odds and ends, USB cables, lighter, work gloves. My carpet is beginning to come off the side in a few places. Adhesive is letting loose. My carpet was done by AT.

You may already know this but you can pick up spray adhesive at Walmart or home depot and its pretty easy to apply.

My factory installed carpet started to pull off once I velcroed a pocket to it. I ended up using snaps and put on a back seat organizer on the passenger side wall.
I do have a smoke alarm velcroed on!!

I am no longer getting the Atlas for a Tacoma, I ended up getting a tundra this week. The Atlas will be sweet on a bigger truck. I'll still be posting in this thread because it's got a lot of great info

I put my habitat on a tundra. It’s awesome having the bigger truck. Plus that bigger fuel tank

Yeah, I'm loving it so far. The power is nice too, especially coming from my Tacoma on 37's.

What are you running for rear suspension?

All factory pro suspension except the rear leafs. I switched them to ICON RXT option 2. It is perfect for the weight.

definitely no shortage of power and I get the same fuel economy a lot of taco guys do

Awesome, thanks for the leaf info. I was wanting to keep everything the way it was until I did some light offroading last night. It rode good, just not as well as I am used to.
