@Jeffvt0508 is this the one that the mom doesn't like you, said no when you asked for permission to marry the daughter or something?

What does one of the current lugnuts look like off the truck? Is it may shank or just regular acorn what style lug does the wheel take. Is there enough room for the stock lug wrench in the lug hole?

They can't use the stock lug nuts. Toyota specifically sells lug nuts for them. They look like this

Almost, there's one keyed locking lug nut per wheel. It has a specific pattern to it on the face of the lug nut.

Then get a set of gorilla lugs that are splined like that and eliminate the locking one or see if you can't buy 4 more splined lugs like that

I found an older thread finally that's asking exactly what I asked. :D

They are suggesting the Gorilla as well. I'd like to get away from splined as well. Just a standard 21mm conical lug nut if possible.

Decided to wait until morning to order my lower from PSA. They raised the price $50 in that time. Not ordering now!

That thread was back on forth on whether Gorillas would work or you had to use the TRD lug nuts. I sent Wheelers a message to be sure. But yes that's a good idea if I they don't make what I'm really looking for.

Cool! Thanks man! I haven't had any luck finding non-splined but I'm going to order a 4 pack and additional tool for backup.

So gorilla lugs are a different style spline so you'd have to order a whole kit but it would get rid of the lock you don't like. Or you can get the splined macguard ones which should be the exact same in 4 pack.

I think we had a little misunderstanding there about them being the same wanted to clarify with you.

I see that after looking on Amazon more! :D

I can get a Gorilla set of 24 at Wheelers for $35 plus have to buy the tool. OR you can buy a box of 100 for $25 on Amazon plus you have to buy the tool for $10. No idea what I would do with an extra 76 lug nuts. :D

Or just get a set of 4 McGards for $12. And maybe a second backup tool for $10.
