Well; I never did make that hook up but that’s why I soldered the front RCA’s back into the harness before the key amp. If you add a sub, plug into those RCA’s and run it to the high level input on your amp or powered sub. They sell RCA to straight wire adapter kits. It just kept my install clean.

Ok. What colored wires did you run them too? I was wanting to hook up a 5 channel amp and stuck on how to wire the sub.

Wire them into the front speaker leads going into the key per @destin_meeks The power from the HU is limited to the rear speakers. I didn’t even need a sub after Subies/Kickers all around and the key. It’s awesome!

Anyone know how an Audio Control LC2i could be integrated into this setup?

Got the harness done... forgot I wanted the line out and extra remote connection closer to the amp so I didn’t have to go behind the receiver again. Oh well I remembered at the end.

Did you just splice in speaker wire to make it long enough to reach the back of the head unit?

Two runs of stinger speed wire... got 20 feet off eBay for $20. I also ran my own power and ground outside in parallel with the harness.

Oh! Ok. This is one for @destin_meeks
I believe that since our HU is 4 channel you will just have to bridge a set of front speaker leads out for the sub. Just like I did with the RCA’s except run them back into the amp input harness.

@19trdoffroad 5 channel would still be easy. T-harness will be the same, built with 2 runs of speed wire. The rest will depend on which amp you go with. Pretty much all 5-channels will take 4 inputs and have a setting to just create a subwoofer channel with no additional wiring. The biggest thing is figuring out what you need for the inputs. Most newer amps can take hi-level inputs and just need male RCA tips put on the speed wire. Something like the Kicker KISL or Rockford RFI2SW

I put this on another thread bit figured this one would be better. Anyone experience issues on setup getting the sad sound and 4 beeps during auto EQ. I am using the pink noise from kicker. I ha e it uploaded on phone and connected with a aux cable. I have tried it several times with the volume anywhere from 40-55. I tried with time delay off and on. I also tried with kicker EQ off and on. All the gains are all the eat down. It seems to run for about 2-3 mins before it fails. Am I missing something here? Ideas?

I had this issue yesterday setting up mine. It failed the first time. I set the volume probably around 40 the second time but forgot to restart the pink noise. It failed again. Restarted the pink noise and tried again. Third time worked. I also used the downloads from Kicker to set gain.

Is your phone going to sleep? Like the display turning off? If so disable it from auto shutting off.

Thanks , I figured out my issue. I doubled checked all the speakers and found one of my back speakers had no sound. I figured out it was in my harness cause the original connection had sound. I rewired my connection for the back speakers and auto setup and it was successful. Wanted to say thanks to TPP for the harness instruction, it was a huge help.

Can anyone confirm if this is correct? I labeled the connectors in the pic.

Also,I understand the use of the painters tape for mapping now.
