Tools made in the USA

I've been shopping for a new bench vise and realized I can't find one that's made in the US w/ US materials. A majority of products on my truck are USA / Austrailia / Canada and obviously there's some from China, etc. I try to avoid that.

Looking to see what tool companies are made in the USA or what you all are using in your garage that's of super high quality.

When I got tired of repairing my air compressor, I got a Quincy QT-5. Its made in the USA. Quincy makes their own pumps, and they use Blandor industrial motors.

Its like this one, except mine has a magnetic starter. Its excessive for residential use, but I like it. I've had it a couple years and its just over 50 hours (pump time). The pump is rated for 50,000 hours, I'm just half through the initial 100 hour break in.

 

Check out Wilton vises, They are USA made, they were bought out by Tenex in 2014 which is a U.S company also.

 

Check craigslist or Facebook for a used Wilton, Charles Parker, Prentiss or Rock Island. You should be able to get one of these for $200 +/- . These are quality American made vises that will last generations
