I think I'm going to have to work on my sewing skills...my tool roll doesn't have a top flap like the one you picked up so tools can slide out.

That's pretty nice. I have the Atlas 46 Yorktown tool roll and love it.

The top flap section is a nice big compartment too.
I'll have to check those out. I've been looking for one for awhile. I should have just asked in here

I kept seeing ad's for it and decided get one and it is great. Sockets, pliers, screwdrivers etc. can go in the pouches on one side and all my wrenches fit on the opposite side.

Refreshed the front end with a black fairlead, f55, and an Amazon lightbar.

Time for a change to the rear!

More progress today. Also bought 5' of 3"x3" square tube to box the frame and build a tire carrier.

Today I cut off the excess frame and inner bedside liners. There's still some metal I need to clean out of the frame rails to get the 3x3 to fit smoothly. Was thinking about getting a skinny belt sander for the hard to reach places but not sure it'll have the needed oomph. Only one more day of black boogers for this project :)

Test fit the sides today. They match up really well, stoked. Then took it off and kept working on the tire carrier. New bandsaw makes the cuts so much nicer!

More progress (having kids makes it a mofo to get things done quickly lol). Shits a mess but we're getting there.

The real question is, it going to be ready for our trip? Or are you just bringing the Tacoma?;)

Thank you! Sick rock is such a fun trail. Short enough it can be a day trip and not too technical to where you can't chill.

Just sold my trail gear rear bumper. Probably going to use the funds to get a pipe bender to build a new one o_O
