I've only ever had to do routine maintenance on my 2013 1GR-FE. If anything some of the maintenance is a bit...overdone:

Tires rotated, oil changed & u-joints greased every 5k.
Engine & cabin air filters 2x a year.
Spark plugs, transfer case, gear oil - front and rear boxes & MT fluid every 30k.
    Brake pads at 70k.
    Coolant at 90k.
Battery went 6.5 years. Serpentine belt went 120k.
    Rear u-joints at 120k.
Front & rear suspension with OEM leaf pack at 70k. Again at 120k, minus leaf pack.
Lower Control Arms at 120k - had to due to seized bushings.

I'm starting to think about preventative measures:
    Front rotors.
    Front hubs & bearings.
    Rear bearings.
    Clutch.

I REALLY love this truck. What do you all think?

I think you're doing just fine. Personally, I'd wait until you need brakes and wheel bearings before replacing them. Theyre not really items that fail without notice so I think you'd be silly to replace ahead of time. Keep up w/ your regular maintenance like you're doing and it'll last a lifetime.

I have seen a lot of trucks go 200k with stock wheel bearings no problem . If your in rough terrain constantly your going to get less out of parts compared to highway miles .
I just picked up a 2015 4cyl 4x4 with 16k , did all the fluids , brakes still look new , truck is just going to be a commuter so I am hoping for 200k with basic maintenance.

I try to do fresh Mobil1 and OEM filter every 5k. I’ll go longer but not much farther than 6 or 7.
Overkill. Wasting money. Call it what you like, I sleep well at night.

180k here, I got it with 80k 3 years ago. Replaced everything in the engine bay besides the motor. Kind of my fault as I do alot of river fording and offroading.

Regular maintenance and replacing parts as they are noticeably wear should take you relatively far.

If you adhere to the severe duty maintenance schedule in your owners manual the truck will go over 300k no problem. It makes zero sense to replace items before they wear out, unless money is no object. Visual inspection and fluid changes go a long way. Good luck

    I’m shooting for 400k.

I’m thinking around 200k I’ll overhaul the rear wheel bearings and the entire front end regardless of what’s is or isn’t dead.

If I had the space I’d keep a low mileage 6MT and complete OEM exhaust on hand. Just to say I had them.

I would take a look at the frame for rust spots. Rust never sleeps.

Not familiar with the 6's but the 4's need front wheel bearings by 100K or less .
