Help disable seatbelt chime?

Not sure where to post this question, hopefully it’s ok here! I’m in Seattle and trying to disable the seatbelt chime (I wear it but dog likes to ride shotgun). I’ve heard some dealerships will do it and I asked Michaels in Bellevue which is where I bought the truck but they refused. Was wondering if any members close by that already have a Carista or Techstream could help me out. Would be happy to bring you some cold beers of your choice!

Lake City Toyota had no problems disabling mine while it was in for service.

 

they make these with dog leash leads too. I have one. My work bag triggers the weight limit so I have one that I use when I need to keep the dog in the back seat when she’s muddy as can be, or if I need it for the seatbelt chime. Leave it in the driver door pocket when it’s not in use.
