Does anyone makes hi-lift mounts that are compatiable with the Softopper?

I would really like to get a set of the Relentless Fab mounts, but need to confirm there won’t be any interference issues first.

how much of a gap is there between the hinge and the jack? Looks pretty tight...

Haven’t had any issues with it clearing when dropping or pitching the Softopper.

Picked mine up from a semi local guy this morning. I’ll probably end up moving it forward a little bit.

Awesome pics. That’s one complaint of my diy mounts is it interfered with folding the top down. Good to know there’s a solution that works.

I've heard a rumour that Softopper is now owned by Bestop, is that correct? I know Softopper is more known for quality than BT.

I have the 4xRac mounts on my truck but skipped the rail and bolted them directly to the bedside. Topper clears and folds with no issues and plenty of room.

That’s clever as well. I would totally make something like that myself, thanks for the pics.

I keep my Hi Lift, plus a small but human-sized shovel, at the front of my (long) bed, mounted above a drawer platform, and it fits within my soft topper no problem. Both the jack and the shovel are mounted on a pair of 4-hole strut brackets, using some 3/8 bolts and strut nuts... maybe $10 in hardware store parts total.

More recently, I upgraded to security nuts on the jack. So maybe I'm in $25 now, I forget. But I've run this setup for 2 years and 12k miles, mostly off road, without issue.

I did have to lop off 2-3" of my hi-lift to fit within the bed (side-to-side) but I think I started with the extra-long version of the jack anyway.

I'm about 5'9 and I routinely sleep in the bed, on the drawer platform, under the topper, without removing the jack or the shovel.

Here is a frame grab from a recent video, without the soft topper:
    bed_view.jpg

Here is a close up of the mount taken an hour or two ago:
    jack_shovel_mount.jpg

    It is rock solid.

Just had a solid downpour and my Softopper blocked 90% of the rain, save for the lower corners closest to the cab. Does anyone have a good technique for sealing these? I'm thinking weatherstripping/velcro or shove a towel in there like a caveman

you could put some window weld or rtv in the gap to fill it...It’s not a guarantee that it will be completely leak free, but it will help...
