Hi everyone i finally decided on rims for the 2014 Toyota Tacoma no lift and from what ive seen 2 users have this wheel setup and both stated they are using 3mm wheel spacers to clear the calipers.
Does anyone have a recommendation on the spacers i should use?
Also a recommendation on anything else needed to make these rims have a good fit and no problems? certain lugs or that rubber thing to put in between the rim and the hub?

Im going to be using 30x9.5 BFG Ko2's The wheels are
    Pro Comp 7069
    specs
    • Size: 15 x 8
    • Bolt Pattern: 5 on 4.5
    • Finish: Flat Black
    • Offset: -19
    • Backspace: 3.75

@KDogg311 anyway you could link me to your 3mm spacers? I'm pretty sure this is your current rim. Also did you have to extend the lugs or anything like that?

Just bought those same spacers, same size for my new pro comp wheels. Same backspace 3.75. Will know in a couple days if they fit right.

Hub centric rings do make mounting a bit easier, but they are not required to successfully mount and center the wheel

Tbh I haven't bought them yet but they were recommended because the rims are lug centric basically they center on the hub with them. I just get a little vibration but I also might just need a balance and alignment

**ignore if you're installing longer wheel studs.......Be cautious of the amount of threads/turns you will get with the lug nuts when using slip on spacers.

How many threads turns should you have minimum?

If the setup is the same as mine it bites with 6+ turns also i used a tourqe wrench every 50 miles and snuged them to 90 ft pounds for about a week because I was nervous but now they are super solid just check occasionally with the spacers. Also ko2s are the best guys stopping power and grip is insane. 20200219_120924.jpg

I'll try that routine when mine come in. That's my only fear with the free floating spacers, not snug enough, vibrating loose.

Yup, same ones I posted. 3mm hubcentric. Right now my taco is riding on 1in spacers front and rear, stance is too aggressive.

Hey friend, if you don’t mind me asking. Which size tires are these? I want these tires but on the original steel rims.

    Hey
I just went through this w/ my truck

The factory lug nuts on fatory wheels have 9 turns
I am using adapters on my truck and I only got 6 1/4 turns (I did not feel confortable w/ that)
I ended up getting extended threads lugs nuts and they got 12 3/4 turns :)

here is a picture of what they look like
    Screenshot (133).jpg

Here is a link to some of my mods,
    including mounting the adapters
