Has anyone tried these headlights out? I just ordered a set and I’m wondering what people think of them.

What do you mean you retrofitted them?

They’ll work fine. But expect moisture. Deal them before installing if you get them!

How hard was the retrofit? I was thinking about doing this since I just got the blacked out version of these lights. How's the output?

It was my first time trying it.
Intimidating at first but I've done it twice since.
Just take your time and don't force yourself to finish it in one day.
Just did a set of Depo stock style housings with Morimoto D2Ss
Light output is infinitely better than the halogen bulbs that come with it.
I've got a pair of F2 (same a Supernova V4) H1 LEDs and a pair of Morimoto 2stroke H1 LEDs that would work perfect for the highbeams if anyone is interested.
Also I would recommend sticking with the 35 watt ballasts with these aftermarket housings just to be on the safe side.
