@tpp4 I didn't check my HU manufacturer and I don't recall if there was anything plugged in there, I will check and see if the harness has an OEM plug connected that was there previously.

Panasonic...idk what's going on. I can grab a full label pic next time I pull the dash.

Please do. If I'm able to just do a full radio swap to one with the right hookup, I may. But if it needs the input from the truck as well, I guess I'm screwed.

Can you (or have you already) post a pic of the front of your radio? You did buy the truck new, so no chance any prior owner swapped out something?

Edit: Is THIS like your radio?

It's just the stock SR radio. I bought it used, but it looks and functions like every other radio I've seen. It's not like some features haven't been working. And if it was swapped, there's no wire that is dangling loose without a plugin

I have a dumb question if someone can answer for me since I'm stuck at work and don't have the kit in front of me. Question pertains more towards the Natika camera versus the interface unit.

The black quick connection on the camera (not the yellow connector) is the same size and/or smaller than the diameter of the threaded shaft on the camera itself correct? I mean, it has to be to feed it through the hole without making a slotted wire cutout...just verifying. I forgot to bring my camera to work to mock-up a mount I was fabbing up. If anyone has their camera laying around could you verify. I know it's a dumb question but just want to be sure before moving forward, I can always do it tomorrow just anxious to do it now.

Yes, the 4-pin tubular connector fits through the round hole you drill for the threaded mounting shaft.

Thank you, much appreciated! Just working on a little project, didn't want to get ahead of myself before confirming. Just a prototype/mock-up and still awaiting some hardware but....

Thanks mate! Definitely, been putting this project off for months and trying to light a fire under my butt to finish it ASAP. Hope to have it installed this weekend. *fingers crossed*

Would it be possible to make an extra set for sale? I’ve been holding off on this install because si do not want to drill into my OEM TRD pro grill

What I was hoping to try to do was get this concept complete and possibly use the finalized dimensions to either make a model that can be 3d printed, or a mold that could be easily cast. Only reason it's stainless steel at the moment is just because it's what I had access to at work.

Would love to make a low cost option for others to buy or just share the model for others to use. Let me get this one sorted out and I'll post back with how well it works, I haven't even gotten to the stage of making sure the cameras LOS is correct. I'll let you know though, thanks mate!

@tpp4 I did more work on the system today and pulled out the CS module and harness. Pics for reference:
    1st is my HU model.
2nd is the connector for the bottom plug from the CS harness, it is not connected to any OEM wiring just plugs into the HU. I pulled of the crappy harness wrap and found that this plug only has 2 wires, one black and one red. It might be that this is a positive and negative?
3rd is the back of my HU.

I would like to add that if you have the foam sticky wrap that is on your CS harness, remove it and get some Tesa tape and wrap it with that. I had my Kicker Key amp in there and the residue was getting all over it. I took out my harness and wrapped it up to clean it up and not worry about the inner part of the dash getting all gummed up. It should help with circulation and adds a little more room for the harnesses already there. Last pic.

The back of your HU appears to have more connectors than tpp4's does. Tpp4's (I think) matches up with the one that I posted the ebay pictures from. Does the front of yours look like the ebay pic or different? In any case, you are saying that you left the 8-pin connector hanging loose?

I forgot to attach a pic of the front of the HU. Posted now. From what I can tell, there was no OEM plug going to the HU port in question, since I was doing my audio system. Now you have me wondering if I overlooked it. I will have to check and see if I have any issues.

Just checked and tested if both cameras come on when using Mode button. No issues, the only thing I can think of is that there may have been a revision on the 2019 SR trucks for the port. I will take the dash apart if I have anything pops up. I've had the system in for a few months now and IIRC, there was no cable plugged into the port originally, I just installed following the directions in this thread. and the videos posted here too.

We just gotta figure out how to make @tpp4 work. His HU is a puzzle right now with the "missing" connector.

It was mentioned that tpp4 bought it used, I don't know if he meant the truck or the HU. It could have been swapped out I guess? Since there is no OEM connector plug going to mine, than an OEM HU of later manufacture would probably solve the issue. The eBay pics provided also don't show the extra port and the HU is from 2016. Maybe the factory was trying to use up existing stock of HUs? On the bottom right hand corner of my HU it says 510361 this may be a OEM number for the HU model.

He said he bought the truck used, but as far as he knew the radio was the original. Although similar, the front of your radio has an "Apps" button that the ebay radio doesn't have. I'm guessing that tpp4's radio must be like the ebay unit. Maybe it just isn't compatible with the CS controller?
