I have a nearly new JBL head unit that I took out of my TRD Pro with about 2,000 miles on it. I will ship this to you or you can pick it up, I am in Santa Barbara. Thanks, JL 1.jpg JL 3.jpg Jl 2.jpg

Did you lose any of the functionality that the stock unit had? Like the options to control different settings with the truck?

I second this! How did the the swap go? I have the older JBL system (no carplay) like the one you are selling here and have heard it's so much grief to upgrade. Looks like the HU you upgraded to has carplay which is exactly what I am looking for.

Swap went well. I have the idatalink so I still have most of the functionality. I can reset CEL's and check tire pressure. It also gives me different temperatures such as intake. I think it may have lost a little of the functions, but I don't remember what they were. I like it, sounds better and wireless carplay is nice. I also have a anytime cam for the front and back now, though I dont use it much

Yeah I wish the aftermarket HU would look more stock. Not a dig at anyone with aftermarket HU's, I dont know how to explain this, all aftermarket units look too "aftermarket". If that makes sense. They just function so much better over stock.

For all of those wondering about the factory settings, If you use the idatalink maestro, and buy a deck that is 100% compatible with the maestro (all compatible decks are shown on idatalink maestro.com) you will retain all of the stock functions. I use the Pioneer AVH2400NEX and I still have all of my stock functions including lighting, locks, back up sensors, TPMS, etc. The decks even have an gauge function on them to view all of the stock gauge positions. Check out their website before buying the deck u want to check compatibility and functions.

I've got a SR5 without entune or GPS, would it pop in and work with my Dash display (gauge display)?

not sure on that one, I think another another thread where someone was selling a JBL they mentioned you might need a different wire harness to go from non-JBL to JBL. you would need to research that one.

Running pioneer dmh2660 and maestro rr2. Make sure you make all setting changes before you swap out the head unit as you will not be able to make some changes after i.e. unlock button to unlock driver and passenger door and some others.

I see that you quoted my context. I would like to clarify.... If you use an IDATALINK MAESTRO, and your aftermarket deck is 100% COMPATIBLE with the IDATALINK MAESRTO, YOU WILL NOT LOSE THE VEHICLE OEM SETTINGS!!..WILL NOT. There are settings in the aftermarket deck somewhere that allows these changes to still be made. Anyone have any questions, feel free to shoot me a PM. Just said this in BOLD so that everyone looking at this thread could re read the details.
