Wow that looks alot nicer than the one that I received, no stretch marks or anything. Thank you for taking the time to remove the headrests on your truck and taking pictures to show me how its supposed to look like when its done properly.

You're welcome, the headrests were a lot harder to install than expected but when done right they really look good. I did mine four years ago and they still look good. It's hard to tell they're covers.

If I recall the first time I wasnt getting the J hook inserted right, you might check to make sure you're hooking yours properly before installing.

The stretch and fold marks from packaging smooth out over time

When I installed the cover on the headrest, I found it useful to squeeze the headrest, compressing it. It was easier to slide the voucher over the compressed section of the headrest, Also, wear a thin pair of gloves !

When I installed the headsets I had a hard time to get the hook into the bottom also. What I did was I kneeled on the headrest to compress it and then the hook was no problem to lock and stuff inside. I did that on the front and backs.

I’ve put these covers on two trucks and the “wrinkles” on the cloth covering of the headrests that you have pointed out a few times is normal. The truck I took the Clazzios off of were wrinkle free in a few days. These covers are tight and in my opinion that’s what makes them look so good and not like a trash bag covering a seat like so many other brands.

Well I tried to install one of the back seats today, the ones that use cover #41 and cover #42.

Cover #42 (the bottom back seat on the drivers side) fit perfectly but it had a little slit cut on it for a string to pull the seat back which my vehicle didnt come with so I found that a little strange since the seat covers were designed for my vehicle. Piece #42 fit properly though so no big deal if it has a slit that doesnt do anything since its in the back part of the cover.

The next part that I tried was cover #41 which is the top part of the back seat for the drivers side was too, I got the cover all the way down but it had several flaws with it, the biggest flaw is that the velcro in the bottom wasnt long enough to close the cover, the second issue was that the stitching on the bottom came off while sliding the cover over the seat (probably because it was too tight), the third issue was that the headrests holes were cut too big, the last issue with cover #41 was that the hole on the back of the seat doesnt line up properly with the cover.

First, the Velcro at the bottom of #41 is supposed to be tight. You have to really stretch it, which would probably be easier to do if you did not remove the seats from the truck......
Secondly, once you stretch the back down those headrest holes slip under the plastic pieces

What i meant by stretching the velcro is that it wont go to the other part where the velcro is supposed to stick, its not long enough. The second part about the headrests holes being too big being covered up by the headrests, the big holes still allow alot of junk to fall in the holes, and what if you want to lift up the headrest? you have some big ugly holes there to see.

Also the hole on the back of the cover doesnt match up with the hole on the back of the seat either.

The leather will stretch, and it would be easier to stretch if the seats were in the truck, thus making the two sides of the Velcro attach.
Case and point, the holes you’re talking about at the headrest attachment point. You have to PULL the cover down around those plastic pieces. The clazzio tool helped do this. PULLING the cover down around those plastic pieces will give you more slack.
Refer to post # 4534 in this thread to see How the cover should look around the headrest attachment points.

Just quotting you for the pictures, nice job installing the covers.

Hmmm I see what you mean, I didnt push in the headrests button part but when I push it in that will make the leather go down and give me more slack for the velcro part in the bottom to reach where its supposed to stick. Damn... too bad that my cover ripped on the way down when I was sliding it on the seat, good thing I got the warranty then lol. I still dont know if it will be enough to make the velcro reach where its supposed to but I guess that ill wait and see what Clazzio says about the email that I sent them asking for an exchange or a refund due to poor fitment. Im not sure if I should keep on trying more covers since the stitching came off of cover #41 in the bottom and the headrests for the drivers seat that I tried the other day was way too small, it looked like both the cover and the headrest got stretch marks trying to make it fit inside the cover.

Well Clazzio called me over the phone, they said that since I got the warranty that I should try to install the seat covers and if I have any fitment issues, tears, stitching that comes off, etc that they will take care of it since I got the warranty from their website and they want to make me happy. I guess ill give the installation another shot after watching some more installation videos online.

Edit: Well I found out why my headrest covers were looking like they had stretch marks and why I couldnt get them on... I was putting the J hook on the back part of the headrest but they were supposed to go on the front part of the headrest so I was essentially putting the headrest covers on backwards lol

Has anyone had the synthetic for an extended period of time? I'd be interested to see how those hold up over the years.

I didn't take photos of that part but did struggle to get the plastic backs over top the seat covers as well. The hard part was getting the plastic tabs to insert where they needed to fit on the seat. Not much a photo would help there, you just have to keep trying. I'd work on the smaller drivers side seat first, it was easier. Then tackle the mid/passenger side. You have to position it where the tabs need to go and press down on the back of the seat as well as push up from the bottom at the same time. Get a helper if you need to. Worth it!

How do these work with dogs. Are they durable from scratching?

I would think they would be as durable as any leather seats would be. But given the fact that they are a pain in the ass to install and I don't want to do any part of it over I use a seat cover for my dog. My dog also sheds a lot so this helps me not have to vacuum so often.

Anyone know how to get this part on the cover? I tried to put the cover under the plastic part but it doesnt seem to go under it like the other top parts of the cover:

    Seat Belt Cover.jpg

Also I heard that that plastic piece is removable for an easier install? anyone know how to do that?

Heres how I did the other top parts:

I installed one end then stretched the other end to get it to fit. Just feel for it... make sure not to rip.

From left to right? like top left first, bottom left second, top right 3rd, bottom right 4th? or some other pattern like bottom left first then top right second?
