I was going to get an awning for the rear of my truck but I think I've decided to get a 270 instead.

Right now I'm considering either OVS or Alu-Cab. I LOVE the Kinsmen but at 3x the price I'm not sure it's worth it for me. If I were using it every weekend for sure I would spring for it. But, I'm not.

These are the 2 I'm currently considering. I think I'm leaning towards the Alu-cab. It's smaller but is lighter and looks like it would be better to use without support polls.

I want easy and quick to deploy by myself.

I'm running a GFC and would mount on the side.

    Thoughts?

ScenicCity Overland guy on youtube has the OVS 270 on the driver’s side of his GFC & Tacoma. There’s a couple of reviews and a little of comparison to his buddy’s alu-cab. He will respond to a PM if you’re still considering.
