    The battery is bolted to the bed in the box. Ran under the cab and connected to the main connections and then wrapped in glue heat shrink. They are also connected to the terminals on the fender bracing so I can connect accessories like my front light bar. On a side note going to find a more stable solution then a million zip ties but they work. haha

    I was told yes, but I am going to have Accutune re-valve and put new springs on to match the valving. This set up is just temporary.

    I've seen that same set up on some sort of quad, I can't remember the brand or model but as long as the other spring doesn't bind as well it doesn't look like it would hurt anything.

    took her out to barstow a few days ago to best of the new LSK kit and man can she take a beating. The rear end really needs some work now haha. Have a few videos on my Instagram of this small jump. Dev_r_

    yes that spring set up is normal. on a a-arm set up this is standard, you are only using that spring while at full droop to keep the lower spring from rattling around.
    your transition if running a traditional dual rate set up would be so high, it would beat you to death when it crossed over.

    springs predicate ride height and valving shims control the ride.

    truck came out great.

    I'm doing a wide-body set up as well and I'm trying to do my rear end first what do you guys suggest to do to get the wide stance I believe the Tacoma rear axle is about 70 in long and I need something around 78 to 82 in I believe.
    what do you suggest tundra rear end or T100 rear end what kind of axle is the best

    First gen tundra, t100, and 2nd gen taco axles are the same width. Some internet sources claim they’re like an inch and a half different but I have a 2nd gen Tacoma and first gen tundra axle to measure and got roughly 66 1/4” wms to wms. You shouldn’t measure the tires and wheels in your measurement since everyone has different wheel size and offset and tire size. Most 2nd gen guys run wheel spacers unless they step it up to a custom fabricated axle.

    yes my axle is 65 in and I can't find anything right now that exceeds it

    Definitely not an inexpensive route to take but GenRight uses axles from Currie at 70" wms-wms. I imagine Currie, Dynatrack and Diamond could all take care of creating something wider for Taco's. If I down the road decide to go LT at plus 3.5 each side in the long run something from any of them I think would be a good choice. Then of course there are also plenty of DIY suppliers.

    While this kit is awesome and can take whatever you can throw at it, the flimsy core support unfortunately can not. Problem solved though!

    Yeah core support is finished. Turned out great. The truck does vibrate more with my solid motor mounts but ‍Race truck i guess? Hahaha

    Had to trim the inner fenders, last time out in Johnson valley I was at lock and hit a bump and caught one. We were going to go with hood pins not knowing if factory hood latch would work but it did. Upgraded the factory trans cooler to a new B&M one and moved the horns over to passenger side. Part of the old support was used for the bottom of the headlights and also for the light bar. Where the new support meets the side supports was welded to each other now so if I need to take the front clip off it is 8 bolts for the assembly and the the 4 holding the radiator on and I would need to release the A/C line and the whole thing comes off. Only had part is the back of both headlight needed so there was a hole that was was then patched on the back of the headlights so they would fit with the new support.

    Just wanted to throw this out there for people who were thinking about the LSK kit and possible big brake kits. The LSK race kit first of is fantastic, they did move the abs sensors to the back side of the spindle I believe due to location with the steering link and also to protect against things hitting and damaging the abs sensors. I was so worried about making sure the calipers were going to clear the wheels I didn’t even think about the sensors. I purchased the SOS 6 piston stoptech kit and the abs sensors do hit the bracket that mounts to the spindles. I have posted pics below. My fault for not double checking everything, but just though for anybody that is thinking about doing big brakes with the LSK race kit.
