2019 radio head unit replacement

So I want Apple CarPlay but I wanna keep my Tacoma stock as possible. right now I have a entune 2 radio? It’s not the 3. But I have that little screen that sits in between my gauge cluster and it tells me tire pressure and all that jazz.well I was wondering if I somehow took a 2020 Tacoma radio with Apple CarPlay and put it in the 2019 Tacoma would there be any conflicting parts or would this even work? I just wanna be able to keep use of that nice screen in the middle of my gauges Functional and have that stock look with Apple car play. Cause it is very difficult to reply to messages using the radio head I have now. Without CarPlay.

 

There’s a bunch of information on here about adding Apple CarPlay, least expensive way is an adapter that costs around $600.
