Install the Smittybilt compressor under hood?

    I put one where a second battery would go. Had to move some hoses/bend some brake lines out if the way to allow it to fit. Made a bracket to support the weight of this massive thing. Hard wired it in with a switch and the air connection in the wheel well. Only thing i need to redo, is the hose coming directly off of the compressor as it basically does a 180 degree turn and is borderline kinked.20210403_184146.jpg 20210403_155021.jpg

    Here is what I did for my Viair that looks extremely similar. It is all hard wired now. This summer I will be adding a distribution block and pressure shut off switch. I made the bracket out of aluminum that I had in the shop.

    I added my Viair to my truck. Not the same compressor obviously, but may give you some alternate ideas. Been great, no issues whatsoever so far.
