What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yeah the wrinkles are tough to smooth out. I used a hair dryer and elbow grease. Did you use just a raw sheet of vinyl or was it precut? It's really hard to get it wrapped around corners without heat and stretching. I ordered another raw sheet to do more pieces in cab, now I have confidence laying it

 

I just put Denso Iridiums in my 4.0, was this a mistake. ( have not read the links provided above yet )

Having never run them I have no experience to base a reply on, but I would say they are in, paid for, probably cant return em, so send it..

 

Stopped on the freeway to help a lady passed out in her car after hitting the center divide. Luckily I was out of the car when the dumb ass lady hit my truck. Taking it in Monday am to find out the prognosis.

And today I completed phase 2.

Whelp, did a thing today. Relocated my hvac controls to the lower cubby hole. It was a fucking pain in the ass but I tried to make it look as clean as possible. I believe it might be a TW first.


Why would I do this you ask? I was building a mobile command center / trail center / work station with Ram mounts and I couldn't reach the controls without contorting myself.

I even have an extra ram mount / charging station for the passenger.

 

Started putting ol girl back together. Just have little things left like hook up wiring, wire in my license plate lights, etc.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a third brake light assembly? Just one of those cheap eBay blacked out ones.

 

That sucks man. So sorry to see this kind of stuff happen to good Samaritans AND awesome trucks.

I'm really behind on what I've done... Upgraded to 285's, which prompted a cab mount chop, and a pinch weld mod. I was fortunate enough to be able to buy the Rago endeavor bed rack proto, and got it installed. Made a rear ladder rack type extension to make it more kayak friendly. Welded up an external mounting system to stick a Pelican 1750 to the Prinsu. Put it all together and shook it up, and I'm pretty pleased with where it ended up.
