I just recently purchased a new Kenwood DDX9906XR, and can't seem to get the OEM backup camera to work properly with it. It looks like this (https://imgur.com/a/9EVEt37) when you turn it on/go in reverse. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to what could be the issue?

I haven't yet, I'm going to call crutch field tomorrow and see if they have any ideas. I'm hoping that it could just be the cable that came with the harness is bad, but that's wishful thinking. Thing is, first day, it was working until I actually put it in the dash.

It looks like the camera isn’t getting powered properly.

This video mentioned they had to use a converter because the stock camera runs 6v. The rest of the truck is on 12v and if you use the Maestro steering wheel kit, it only outputs 4v. Hopefully, that is your problem.
