A few questions as this is my next step.

How does the OME ride? Especially compared to stock? The only experience I have is driving a stock GX 470 and one with the Dobinson MMR kit. The stock was softer but didn't absorb bumps as well. The MMR felt "stiffer" but more controlled and handled bumps much better. My goal will be 3" front lift with bumper and winch, 2" rear lift with probably stock bumper.

I'm assuming that whatever lift I get, I will need the coil conversion kit?

For anyone reading this, don't be afraid of the nav unit. Yes is sucks at nav but they are robust and don't typically fail.

OME all the way if you want my opinion. Yes, no matter what you'll need the coil conversion kit. I recommend metaltech, they can sell you the whole setup with their coil conversion kit with the oem spring isolators which you'll need too.

And the NAV ones suck.

I don't know that I've ever seen one with the black interior before...damn that look sharp...I need to increase my search radius to 500+ mi, as there isn't shit on the market right now otherwise.

The dark interior is uncommon, the sport model with the black wood trim and KDSS is very rare (like 5% of GX’s got it) and non nav like mine make it a unicorn. Even in the GX groups I think there’s only like 15 or so people that have sport non navs like me.

Update: I sold the “Rock Warrior” wheels and installed some hyper silver Sequoia wheels, also removed the visors.

Yeah, I do NOT want KDSS, but I can see why yours is so rare...but I like it...I think Silver or the green color might be my top picks.

Why don’t you want KDSS? So freaking nice on road and off.

Cause I plan on lifting 2.5-3" in the front and 2" in the rear with some custom tuned Kings for a cushy on-road ride. Plus I haven't even found one with KDSS yet...I mean it's not a deal breaker, if the rest of the car is nice and in my budget.

Our GX460 has KDSS and it is nice, but I hear when you add aftermarket suspension stuff it pretty much negates the benefit of the system.

Lots of 470’s lifted with 2.5-3” front and 2” rear with KDSS mine included. Just can’t go higher than that with KDSS.

Im lifted 2.5” and other than KDSS spacers to fix the lean that came from lifting I have no issues. I’ll probably do the panhard relocation brackets just to get that perfectly level but it’s really not needed.

    Ditto on the above.

Plenty of them out there. It's not uncommon to find one in decent shape under $10k.
