I’ve seen so many different bungee nets and cargo nets in a million different sizes but couldn’t quite find one I liked. So I made my own :)

    I used the
    Hyper Tough Adjustable Truck Net
from WalMart, but it is 78”x 55”.
I needed 53”x35” and didn’t want a lot of “stretchiness” to it.

So after a day of measuring, cutting, and sewing, this is what I ended up with. I love it and it fits my needs! I added the bungee cords so the net doesn’t sag too low, yet it allows for some extendability.

I hope this little day project can possibly help someone else out :) it was a good bit of work, but with a rewarding end.

These look great! How did you affix them to the underside of the camper shell? Thank you.

My shell has roof tracks so the net is using the underside of the track bolts. Just got extra washers and nuts and it was quick and easy. I’ll post a better pic later on after I’m out of work if you’d like.

Edit: in the 1st pic on the 1st post you can actually see the bolts too

It looks like you painted the interior of your shell - could you provide more insight into what you used and how it's held up?

I'm looking to do the same thing and thinking of just using Rustoleum marine paint.
