Yea rope is just as strong as steel cable and does not kink. Also weight savings is good. I need new rope though:annoyed: mines about had it.

Big thing nobody has mentioned. Synthetic is also mush safer. It breaks and falls instead of snapping and flying at high speed in the event of a failure

Haha, looking forward to it. :fistbump:

Yes it is. From the prices I've seen(~$350-400), you can nearly purchase a whole new winch.

@tweakit88 mentioned a good rope that’s like $100 bucks. I think he uses it.

Awesome. Please share details. Smitty 9500 for $259+ $100 rope is substantially cheaper than the alternative.

Make sure you get a good rope, that is for sure one place you don't want to cheap out on if you plan on offroading much, a lot of the cheaper ones will break. My Smittybilt rope has pulled a lot of people out of some hard places.

70lb. CV, Inner and Outer tie rod, SPC ball joint, 2 u-joints, hitch receiver shackle, 2 Shackles, 1 soft shackle 2 doublers, tree saver, winch controller. Edit: and a fan belt.

Case doesn’t quite like the pulleys or shackles for height, but it closes fine.

@stronghammer replaced the tubes on my bike today.

Yeah, you know the things that go inside the tires to hold air.

My driver’s back window has always rattled when you shut the door with the window down. I just always thought something was loose or off track. Today I took it apart to install sound deadening and discovered this.

    driver’s side:problem
    52404C2B-70D8-4978-9DBC-3318531688D2.jpg
    passenger’s side: correct
    920B80F6-3AEA-49A8-9F9A-53FF5274C73D.jpg

It looks like the factory left out some weatherstripping in the door that guides the window when down.

    Any suggestions on a fix?

Edit: Found Toyota part number and ordered. $18 :annoyed:
