Show off those aftermarket stereo systems!

I made it with a 3D printer -- it does a good job of reducing glare on the screen, but the plastic used doesn't hold up well to how hot the interior can get during the summer... you can probably see a slight sag.

I'm going to try making one out of opaque plexiglas since I have the tools needed to cut and bend/form that material. I know plexi will hold it's shape easily at those summer temps.

What speakers are those? And your right that is how you do it nice job.

 

Those are illusion audio C3CX. I have since changed them out.

Anyone in here with a 2nd gen that relocated the back up from from the rear view to the new aftermarket headunit?

 

I spliced into the feed and split the signal into my aftermarket so it shows on both at the same time.
