So, I recently sold off my 9mm AR pistol build for a Scorpion Evo.. Had that for about 3 months and sold it too! IMO the scorpion recoil is pretty harsh and left me disappointed... I am waiting for the Stribog A3 now with delayed blowback, if that fails to impress me too I will say screw it and get an MP5.

Sorry but I am bored at work.

Nice! I get it I get it... But have you actually fired your scorpion? You cant tell me its pleasant or easy for follow up shots..

EDIT: I guess what I am trying to say about the scorpion.. Is I expected more. Neat gun, and reliable yes I'm sure, or at least till you shoot blazer out of it and blow the left side of the receiver off. ;)

I guess I don't know what I was expecting either. It was my favorite for a time, but after a "honeymoon phase" I found myself gravitating back to my 10.3/11.5" 5.56 sbr's as they are more pleasant and easier to shoot. I was able to sell it at a fair price, and am eager to try another 9mm PCC..

Agreed, ran a few mags through one last year with a hybrid, nothing else I've found really compares. Now that was like a .22 or pellet hun :p

Glad I have my CX4 Storm. It may look futuristic, but it works darn well.

For hiking, I use a Hill People Kit Bag (chest pack). Carries in roughly the same position but is concealed, yet easily accessible.

    Got one of those too.

The kit bag is essentially a chest holster.

2nd the Ruger PC Charger. The front end is noticeably heavier so little muzzle rise and I think it helps the recoil. And I was shooting Blazer brass out of it. My experience with the EVO isn't much and it was a while ago when I shot it. They both weigh about the same but the front end definitely feels heavier on the Ruger. Maybe someone will eventually come out with a lighter handguard. Plus it's only $640, compared to $800 for the EVO.

Its actually less operator and more functional for backwoods hiking etc when you have a pack with a hip belt

A lot easier to keep your bear repellent there than stuck under a backpack hip belt

I have a 5.11 sling bag that has a pocket for a small frame 9mm. As crazy as somethings that has happened on the AT in VA I could careless if they know what I’m carrying. That might not be the only one I’m carrying.

I built one off a faxon barrel, then tried a FM products upper, both colt and Glock mags, but the mp5 style will probably be next.

MagPul is now offering mp5 furniture, and maybe psa will release their mp5 someday...
