What do you use to lube them? I’ve noticed mine were getting a little rust build up so I wire brushed and sprayed rust prevention oil.

replaced the fuel tank evap canister and sensor today:

Ive been throwing the 5 code combo for a year now but only on really cold mornings, decided it was time to replace it.

Part number is 77740-04020, ran me a little over $200
    dWGvdCexNjw92dnilgAVnie7feCYKeFvtRBssTXe_dd1d4b718aeb96a53619cce1fe816adbcf3c62b4.jpgBzEs6NYLO2tXZ6n0ZceZTcMhiTkh4ZhnK_jESv2o_d74e31e5465259d08a697329aca4dbc0587d75af.jpg

Normal way to install these is to lift the bed off or drop the tank but I was going to have none of that considering all the wiring I have into this thing....

I notched just a bit of the bed rib to wiggle it out, nothing to worry about

4 12mm bolts removed, 1 electrical plug, 1 vapor hose, 2 hoses (1 with pinch clamp)

the biggest pita connector is the one on the very back, dual pinch vapor hose -- it took a lot of pinching power to get this to budge.

Any particular reason for swapping from the TR beadlocks? I’m looking at getting some of the BeadLOOK version I love the bulletproof look of the rock ring.

i gained back 4 mpg for dropping rotating mass and i dont wheel as much as i use to that would justify running real beadlocks

i honestly am in it for the look i wouldnt get true beadlocks, just the TR look alikes. i dont wheel hard enough or often enough for beadlocks myself (min 15PSI airdown). any complaints with them? would you have kept them if they were the beadLOOK and not beadLOCK? also with the 3.5" back space that was enough to clear the stoptechs?
