Back to cars, What winch would you guys recommend? trying to spend less than 300

 

Your options are going to be limited with that budget but I've ran this, and have another friend with it. It's a fine winch. Can always switch to synthetic line later on to save ~25 lbs. Actually I'm still running that winch. Had syn line on it for awhile now.

I will have an xbull 12k winch with synthetic and wireless remote that Randy could get back up that way around the end of the month.

Isn't Hampton Roads/Tidewater going by the wayside for 757 "branding/marketing" hahaha (you know things that really matter, vs. civil unrest, blocking highways, etc.)....

I'm linking up with Faded mid June and will be able to bring it back up to Hampton roads area at least. Then you can always run down here, or wait until I inevitably wheel with someone from NOVA to bring it to you.

 

I was just down in Suffolk yesterday and will probably go back in the next weekend or two.. so I can runu stuff up to NoVa

Ok I'm just throwing this out there. If you are trying to do mods or upgrades of any type, people who tell you to "just trade it in" or "why buy it if you can build it" can just get the hell out. What's the point in doing it that way?

 

I’m assuming people are giving you shit for swapping to 4x4? I feeL like a lot of time it’s people thinking the person doing the swap doesn’t know what they’re getting into haha. For you it’s a different story though considering your mechanical and driving abilities, which is kind of why I thought SAS would be more fitting for you and your driving style. Although that marlin crawler LT would probably be a good option too haha

 

Dude. A reputable place that sells parts I will be buying said "In a lot of case's it would be better to just sell the vehicle or trade it in for a 4wd version of the same one." WTF
