i bought an old presidential rod/reel combo maybe 10 years ago. im still fishing that rod and reel to this day. ive replaced the grease in it a few times and repaired the rod tip 3 times so far, but she steel reels smooth as ever. by far my favorite set up. also, this rod is my saltwater rod, if that matters. sorry to eaves drop on your fine CO thread, ill go back to the south side. :D

I’d be interested in the propane tank if you decide to sell it.

I love it, but I love a sensitive rod. I like feeling the action of small, light- or ultra-lightweight lures. I also like discerning between bumping something and a strike when going after small fish.

I've been toting one around for years.

You can take the man out of Alabama, but can't take Alabama out of the man.... Still water fly fishing isn't for me except in smaller mtn lakes. If the water moves a fly is the way.

Agree, I Rarely ever toss a fly on Still water. Just seems to defeat the point.

My Exception is if Brookie's are there. Never thought catching a 3"+ Brookie would be so much fun either.
