For anyone who is hesitant due to the price, these Hondo Garage radio knobs are absolutely fantastic over the 2015 standard OEM. Worth every penny.

    Never enough
Installed Kenwood DDX9906XR with iDatalink and friend made a custom box for behind the rear seats, fits two shallow mount 10s. Replaced stock JBL head unit. Retained JBL door speakers and amp to power speakers. Had to relocate JBL amp to under front seat. Whole project was a pain and my stereo buddy did pretty much everything.

Nothing crazy exciting, but I can finally use the other half of my windshield! Bird dog mirror riser installed easy even though I have the electronic mirror. I put a piece of double sided tape on the top to support it better. However since the electric mirror has the connector which is long enough it sticks into the head liner I think that will also provide some support for it. 20200531_165733 (1).jpg

Air tools are a thing of the past IMO. Just get a nice 1/2 drive, brushless motor, impact and it will take care of 90% of whats on your Taco. I can get pretty far with just a 1/4 impact. Battery powered tools have come a long way in the last 10 years with lithium batteries and brush-less motors. And you don't have to listen to compressor run all the time, plus chase air leaks.

BTW I deal with the salt and hate it too! LoL

One of my first and favorite mods! I only lasted a week before I was tired of ducking under my mirror at intersections. I look even if its green!

Having both air and battery I never touch the compressor except to fill tires and blow dust off things. My Porter cable and Milwaukee both rock.

I have always just used plain old wheel bearing grease and it’s always seemed to work just fine

Any Mods? One. Maybe two, tops...
I’m on a roll! I did another thing, I got my brother in law’s left overs - a BPF Heavy Duty Tacoma Recovery Tow Hook - Heavy Duty Version.

I will NEVER get stuck on my Prerunner on those treacherous trails at the Mall parking lot between the Apple Store and the Cheesecake Factory.

I like it, just for show - and it was free, so, why not?

Today I ordered one of those thingys. Lets see, hmmm. Oh yea a hc rear bumper from 4x Innovations. I have their sliders and have needed them. They did what they are supposed to do so I went for the bumper. 4-6 weeks out.

I thought they looked familiar. I run bolt on Mobtowns on mine. For as much Tacomas there are in Hawaii, I very, very rarely see anyone with real sliders here.
I was close to Line-X-ing them, but thinking about it now, I'm glad I didn't. I painted mines this time, but will probably look into a spray can bed liner next time. Do you put anti-skid tape on top after or has spray can bed liner been good at holding up?

It was an exciting day. First, I spooled out my winch line. Then, well, I ran it back in. :D

Swapped shifter balls from a TRD ball to a Hurst ball. The Hurst is a little smaller and my other trucks have a Hurst so it felt more natural. Hurst is Up for grabs if someones looking for one PM me. 20200601_193707.jpg 20200601_193912.jpg 20200601_194108.jpg
