Also you need to confirm the Accelerator pedal position sensor is good. That's the one closest to the accel cable

I was thinking somewhere along these lines as well. If it's been taken off and not set properly it will give you problems. Probably got lucky and set it right when you put it back on! Woo hoo! Free.99 repair! well - only if you return the other parts for the $120 you spent already ;)

I had the same issue I found if you loosen the two srcrews and adjust it to the passenger side just a little bit seamed to fix the problem

Definitely looking to see the outcome of solution #3. I ended up opting for #1. Went to a auto dismantler that gave a 30 day guaranty. They did mark up the part so if I did return it they knew it was theirs. Searched overseas China for a couple of months only to have everyone come back to say no stock.

Ordered the Throttle Position Sensor from PartsGeek.com got it next day and it is the 89452-35030 part # needed for the 2003, 2004 Tacoma. Installed it and it works great. So now there is a way to get the sensor without having to buy the entire throttle body.

yes, worked for my taco. Make sure to mark alignment before removing it.
Been 2 years since I did mine. No more stuttering since.
