Hey all, how do I prevent my 2015 Tacoma from starting up *on purpose*?

Recently there have been a lot of vehicle thefts/break-ins at my apartment complex. I’m parking under street lights, etc., but I don’t have any sort of anti-theft system.

I’m wondering if there’s a fuse in the cab that I could pop out when I park for the night, so that even if someone breaks in, the car won’t actually start. I was looking at maybe the STA/IG 1/IG 2 fuses, but I’m seeing conflicting information online. (And yes, I’ll pop the spares too.)

    Any suggestions? Thank you!!!

It has an immobilizer key already, not that it cant be compromised, but it’s not just gonna start up with a random key or screwdriver.

You're talking about a kill switch, lots of info on the forum about those...just put "kill switch tacomaworld" into Google and a bunch of threads should pop up

Pulling the IGN fuse under the dash will do what you want.
