    Need suggestions on where a mouse and a snake might have gotten into the cab. Discovered mouse nest in glovebox, cleaned that out and found small snake in the same place the next day. Want to keep them out!

    Shift boot? Cowl vent? Firewall grommets?
    Some say turn vent to recirc while parked kept HOs with BOLOs out.

    Cowl vent. Big open hole under the plastic cowl that supplies fresh air to the cab. Mount some 1/8" stainless mesh over the opening.

    Jeez there are plenty of places a mouse or snake could squeeze in under the truck. Rubber grommets aren't doing anything to stop a determined pest.

    High likelyhood it's the cowl vent. That thing is wide open into the cabin filter, which sits right behind the glove box. I'd check to see if they chewed through that.
