Hey everyone, I have a 2017 SR 4x4 and I have been having some issues with my front suspension. Going over speed bumps or dips I get a loud snapping noise. I included a thread from another user that has videos of my exact issue in the link below. The dealership first replaced my passenger side struts in March of 19. The noise got better but quickly came back so they replaced the driver side struts in July of 19. Since then they trucks warranty has expired and the noise has recently come back. The dealership provides a 1 year warranty on the work they did so now they will only replace the driver side.

Im going to replace front suspension and was hoping to get some suggestions. Im torn between stock height in the front and leveling it. I looked at the Rough Country 2in strut leveling kit but I couldn't find any solid review on it. Any suggestions?

My 2005 with a newer frame has a very similar noise, I think I have reduced it, but it was super annoying, now it is just annoying. This noise may be the pair of front bolt-in metal frame braces between the engine cradle area and the front frame crossmember, hidden above the skid plate.

    Yeah this is "normal"

My only suggestion would be to check torque on lca cam bolts. I forget the actual number but it’s above 100 ft/lbs
