Lots done since the Aux panel.

SSO slimline Hybrid bumper has a lot of surface rush develop over the winter. the clear coat completely failed and wore away from getting hit with a pressure washer 3 weeks after installing it back in november.
Took her off around Februrary or March and let her sort of rust away slowly in the backyard. Had planned to sand blast her entirely to get back to the base metal.
    IMG_20200321_123628.jpg
Didn't sand blast but used a wire brush on a grinder and went ham for a bit over an hour to get rid of all the clearcoat,my attempted gun-blue, and the surface rust that formed.
Primed with Dupli-colour self etching primer and painted over with 3 coats of EZliner Bed liner.
    IMG_20200531_140046.jpg
    IMG_20200531_151029.jpg
Mounted a week later to let the bedliner cure and adhear to the metal.

Next on the list is the also fixing up the rock sliders a bit. Surtface rust started to show through the powder coat MBRP used. I'm not the only one who has this issue - but i didn't feel like ripping it off and trying to RMA it.
So used the spare can of EZliner

Couldn't sleep at 2am one night so ended up browsing Kijiji and found a Backrack safety-rack system from cheap (1/3 of the cost of a new one) after re-mounting the SSO hybrid to the front of the truck.
so added to the list of the wonderful uses of the L-track system

    Electrical Redesign lets go!
Now with an auxiliary auxiliary-common busbar!

TLDR: Planned just to add a CB antenna ground cable and it spiraled out of control and now the entire back end is getting an electrical upgrade.

I've spent too many hours and too many iterations on this

    todo:
Drag 2 or 3 wires from the aux blue seas panel - 2 are hot wires; 1 for the LED strip around the bed of the truck, the other for a future 42 inch lightbar that will fit in between the towers of the Backrack. 3rd wire might be connected to the neutral for a undisrupted electrical flow instead of going through the frame.

    Anyways;
    • Proposed LED strip light in the bed since the old ones crapped out a month after installing them. LED strip has switches on the negative line but runs through a push button switch as well as a magnetic proxy switch that turns the light on and off when the tailgate opens/closes.
    • Proposed CB antenna mount that folds over behind the backrack, this allows for the CB to flex around a bit also stores sideways when not in use. Might need 2 for a Weboost antenna or something.
    • proposed common busbar mounted within the bed of the truck, this way it's 1 cable going to either the frame or going to the fuse panel. Easy to terminate at the bed that have 15 cables go into the bud at the frame and prevents things getting caked in mud.
    • future 42 inch light bar on the backrack (or KC round lights - whatever i decide) so i might as well drag electrical lines for it.

Now i'm thinking of running a 5 or 6 pin connector for just the stuff going to the back rack, that way it's 1 connection that i need to remove and to be able to pull the entire backrack off if need be (because adjustability) 6 if i run a second antenna for a Weboost if it even lets me since i plan to have a fully adjustable backrack.

Looking great, you are getting pro advice which is essential in such an 'advanced' creation.

Just FYI with the CB antenna up there, you cant wiggle under anything down on trails. You will always have to be very observant with what's coming above.

You need to make sure you have a hand saw or electric chainsaw like @honkonbobo uses. It will be required with this setup on any trails that are not just fire roads. As you will have to clear anything that will attack your shiz.

You will get great reception with it up high like that

with the Antenna up there, i was considering using GME's fold-down Antenna mount, Rhino rack's Quick release mount, or Frontrunner's quick release mount to try and solve the issue of being too tall, that way i just hop out of the truck and knock it over down flat to avoid conflict.
    43196-VA-01.jpg
    43196-Pioneer_op-01.jpg
My other option is going into marine grade stuff; VHF/CB mounts, to allow me to swivel it over as well if the other 2 above isn't much of an option.
    1986868.jpg
In terms of the antenna itself, i was thinking of using a shorty/ stubby one, like a foot or 2 tall since it's at the highest point of the truck - but most of those are UHF antennas from what i can tell, *technically* should get the same if not better reception with a shorty on the backrack over the 4ft one over the bed (since most people mount it right beside the tailgate

Sure I bet they will give you a free year pass if you want it, they love people helping with trail clearing.

We had a bit of a wind storm just a few days before you guys arrived, Jeremiah was quite busy with the clearing as well :sawzall:

    Aux electrical overhaul
Currently planning on installing a switch panel of sorts, not a fan of the Switch Pros or similar panels (of which i'm not a fan of membrane switches of that style). So i figured to go with physcial switches. As well as installing in a Relay box of some sort since i've reached a point where i do not currently have room for a new relay switch (since i intend to add in a lightbar).

I'm not a huge fan of the push style switches that i already have as it blends into the other buttons and i'd like to split and identify all my auxiliary stuff under a different style of switches that still feel OEM in some way.

introducing the Upfitter switches from the Ford F250 Superduty:
    17_2014_f150_aux_upfitter_switches_oem_f250-1024x1018.jpg
it fills in my want of a secondary switch system for Auxiliary use that is not the push button style switch nore the switch panel style system, and you really cannot go wrong with rocker switches.

    linked thread of what i'd like to do, no point in re-writing it;

i was playing around with the idea of these switches for a few days and thus straining my sanity and went to a ford dealership yesterday just to check them out. they're super nice with a nice pretty satisfying flick

as unreliable as Ford can be with their transmissions. they know how to make great interior parts

the AT4 rocket launcher is a 1:1 scale moral patch that was entered into the Guinness world book of records as the worlds largest moral patc, it's as awesome! though i'm not sure if it got beat out by the 1:1 attack helicopter missile (i can't seem to find the information on this one though, strange but iirc it's like 10 feet long by 2 feet wide). Anyways got it from Tactical outfitters but long been sold out and the page no longer exists, some info on it; https://soldiersystems.net/2018/06/15/tactical-outfitters-at4-world-record-largest-morale-patch/
Mine is a few years old a this point but is still holding up well.

closer photo incase you're interested in the detail of it

also hanks for the love man, I see no reason to not document it while i work on it since it's here for more my sake than anyone else in case i forget in a years time

The original preorder for it was around 2 years ago, and i picked up one of the last few in stock back in June of last year, they ran around $70 or so.
my guess is the only ones you'll find are ones on ebay or something, i've not seem them floating around since their release. Keep an eye out, you might find one, so best i can say is good luck bud!

I fit them with a 2” lift without doing anything but they can be done on stock suspension. They aren’t wide.

    that cutting was for 35’s
