I am in the processed of changing my belt and while checking the idler pulleys I noticed they have a little movement when I rock them up and down, is this normal? They don't make any harsh noise when I spin them, just a little play. The truck has 120k miles.

Which pulleys? I'd be a little concerned if your crank pulley had play in it

The idler pulleys. I just noticed i left that out of the title. They all have a little rock in them when i checked them with the belt off.

You don't want any slop on the pulleys. They also shouldn't spin freely, there should be some drag in them if you spin it. No drag means the grease is gone.

Replace them with genuine Toyota pulleys.

    This^^

And honestly, just grab new OEM pulleys. The effort involved w/ getting the old bearings out to save a few bucks isnt worth it imo. With the belt already off, you're looking at maybe 5-10 minutes to get the idler pulleys swapped out if you have new ones in hand.

At 120k, change them. I spent the $ for the Toyota parts so I could ensure I got quality bearings.

I grabbed a belt and didn't think about the idler pulleys. I was in a bind. I was changing the belt and Toyota already closed before leaving the next day to drive across the desert. I will take it back off and swap them out soon.

I just replaced mine. The only pulley I messed with replacing the bearing was the Tensioner pulley. Didn't want to spend $120 bucks for the part just for the new pulley. I ordered the bearing on Ebay for $25. The idlers I just replaced with OEM.

YEa, thats true. Febest is the middle ground between a bearing replacement and the full tensioner assembly.
