Would either of you guys have dimensions or a sketch of your mounting plate? I would like to do the same setup as both of you. I am not too keen on the SLEE mount since it sits over the top of the power steering reservoir and closer to the front where water/mud could come in contact with the compressor. I’d really appreciate any input. If not, I’ll get some cardboard and start mocking up my own. Thanks in advance!

I just traced the bolt hole pattern onto a piece of 3/16 plate, and welded an 1/8" flatbar to it. 1/8 plate would work too, I just didn't have any available. Super simple. Used some rubber washers to dampen the vibration, then trim to fit.

edit: I learned how to weld since the first picture. The above is v2 of my original mount.

I repurposed my switch pro bracket since i used a powertray and I mounted it on the passenger side with some spacers to keep it level. Then ran wires where the need to go3934397A-E22F-4F93-864E-D002696F5AC2.jpg

I used the bracket that is already part of the compressor and mounted that to the storage unit. Was not easy

I love this setup ALOT. I’ve been looking at that cubby and thinking I can just mount an ARB single in there with out having to buy the bed side mount set up. So I take it that is the ARB air locker pump and not the ARB single? And how has it held up for you so far? I’m looking to put the ARB single in the same spot with out having to buy the bed side mount.

Just a quick tip, if the female connector is mounted vertically you may consider getting a 'pacifier' to keep junk out of the connector.

yes, you can fit the arb single in the driver side cubby without having to buy anything extra.

This was my previous setup (I ended up switching to the expedition essentials cubby since I'll be switching to a dual compressor eventually):

Edit: I just realized this is the 2nd Gen thread, my bad. Cannot say I didn’t use the search function! I did, I just did not use it well.

Can anyone speak to the passenger bed cubby box that All Pro offers? I really like the idea of it being back there and not having to pop the hood or back seats to air up. I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on it, but if there is something I don’t know that everyone else does, please fill me in!! A twin ARB would be great, but it looks… snug. I think if I settle for a single comp I could store the hose in there too. Any thoughts?

I think this requires the power station/plug to be moved, which there is another piece to purchase to relocate that. (I think) and I have no clue if a single would fit in that spot.
Side note: Why the hell did Toyota get rid of the drivers cubby??

The nice part about this one is the kit includes adapters to put the power connectors in the same location using their box. Basically they built their own bigger cubby out of steel and replaced the factory one.

Thats a great question! Its just one of the list of questions I already have for Toyota’s engineering group lol

I’m not to sure if the passenger side can fit the single or not. I have both sides so can’t speak for this. And can’t say I’ve seen it anywhere.

Did you have the factory subwoofer? If so, how hard was it to remove?

No factory subwoofer but I have removed one before. Pretty easy, just a few extra bolts and clips.
