WOW. I thought Toyota fixed that years ago. Mine went in my 2016 at 5,000 miles so, after a terrible argumentative experience, involving videos to Corporate, they finally did mine under warranty. But they only did the side that was squeaking. Now, 4 years later approaching 25,000 miles, I wonder when the other side will go bad. This is not a new issue. Check out the noise in my video from 4 years ago.

Sorry, no clue. I jut plugged in whatever they sent me. I have had the kit for a bit and just now got around to installing it, so if they have recently changed from one to the other, I had the older probably.

Do you get the camera icon illuminated when the truck is on and does it dim the light if you dim the instrument cluster light?

Fastest way to get backhanded in my truck. I don't have many passengers, maybe that's why.

I didn’t even bother dealing with Toyota because I didn’t want to fight with them when they give me the standard "could not replicate the problem" answer. The energy suspension bushings will definitely hold up better than what Toyota is using anyways. I am glad they at least fixed your 1 side.

So you're telling me that after 12,000 miles that bushing looks like that. If that's the case, the core support would have to be moving inches. Is there a TSB on this or is the information on here somewhere.

Every warranty issue was a fight with them. Their first "repair" for the bushing was greasing the sway bar links. Squeaked all the way home. I had to make videos to get things done. Even when my tire sensors went bad they fought me. Glad to be done with Toyota dealers. I agree you have better bushings. That is what I will install myself if one fails again.

That sucks. I will make sure to check them on my truck. My truck is close to 25k miles.

I plan to have that installed on mine. I like it in black. Maybe I leave it as the way it is.

Thanks Scott. I did not want to drill holes in the bed bottom. I'm just not convinced that this is the final place where it goes. I'm a drag racing fabricator and I've seen batteries thrown from wrecked cars so it needed to be sturdy. I'd like it to be a lower center of gravity, but for now, it's not going anywhere without a 70mph rollover. Lol

I had a less notable squeak similar to it.

I am still in the planning stage for my rear battery in the bed......................trying to come up with the best option and think of all the variables before doing anything.
