I tried to do the same thing when i first bought the cable and cable adapters a while back. After a few back and forth emails exchanges with Hoangde and no success i gave up. I spent lots of money and time trying to get this to work but couldn't.. Sorry no much help here.
I too be interested if someone else has connected it properly that can chime in..

Anytime 400watt, inside 110v outlet, BPF Skid plate, BPF shackle mount,
I bought one of these from a member (original variety). Installed this, the 2wd lo kit, and the meso lower panel yesterday.
Works great, GPS would not update with the toggle flipped, until a 30 minute drive and a few starts. Now working flawlessly.

Hey guys I’m selling my Hai cable. I now have a 2020 Tacoma and the back radio connector has changed and unfortunately I can’t use this harness anymore. Works great and my family enjoyed watching shows, tv, movies on road trips! PM me if you are interested. *I’m including the backup camera switch and the AV to HDMI module for your Amazon stick, chrome cast, Roku etc.

Just curious how were you powering the av to hdmi module? Couldn't get mine to work. TIA and GLWS!

Me neither until I discovered that you need to plug it into your car adapter. After that, it works perfectly!

Hi All. I purchased one of these (original) cables from a local seller, and attempting to install. The instructional video is great, but leaves out quite a few details. Regarding the camera switch it shows 2 small black wires (in addition to the switch, and RCA cables that were routed down from the head unit). But no idea where those 2 black wires are coming from / to.

I looked through most of the 34 pages of this thread, and don't see any questions about this detail. The video states that one cable (red) goes to the source. Would that be the rear camera (since this switch will be controlling that device)? I'm sorry trying to get this figured out. Any advice would be appreciated - otherwise this looks like a very doable project.

    Thank you!
    -Bk

The two black wires are for the anytime rear camera. Just hook them up to any switch and be able to see the rear camera when activated.
