I’ve noticed a very slow drip of oil coming from bottom of my AC motor. all hoses were inspected, and fittings are tight. it’ll drip down on the control arm, where it drips from there into the pavement. I’ve wiped everything down including under the compressor but it showed up couple days later. any suggestions would be greatF6AD0BED-B2EE-4F7A-BF23-8255D7BDE363.jpg

You're sure it's oil? What color is it?

You will need to find the source OP. These things leak from the timing cover and rear main seal. Welcome to the third gen :D

    yeah, it kind of sucks.

drop the skid plate get a couple rags with some simple green and water on them and wipe everything down. Get it as clean as you can and keep an eye on it over the next week. I hope that gives you a start

another thing.....just thinking out loud here. The AC sweats onto the frame. Could it possibly just be dirty water??? It looks like it’s pretty far back. Definitely get a feel of it and see if it’s slick.

No not really, this place seems to magnify issues that only a few owners out of what...a million sold? Have. Dont forget this is the most popular midsize pickup.

I'm assuming it's condensation as well.

All of the leaks I have seen have been SUPER small. Like just making the area around them wet. Which is another reason I am thinking it may just be AC condensation.

Truck is not cursed at all, but it does have some problems. Timing cover leak, rear main seal, diff, and third brake light. Chances are you will never deal with them. Just know they are there. You will absolutely see them more on this forum than you will in the real world
