I didn't take any. If you have a 2020 there's plenty of room under the seat thanks to the power seats. The spp8 is 2.8 in tall width won't be a problem. It definitely gives a thump.

One thing about soundproofing your truck to the max level..... You will hear any squeaks and creaks in the interior really well since you can't hear the outside so much.

Unfortunately, I don’t. I searched here for how to remove the headliner, and found a few good threads. I only took the headliner down partially on the drivers side, since you can reach in there to get to the stock mike location. Here are the steps I took:

    1. Remove drivers side sun visor. For the visor clip, simply rotate counter clockwise, then pop it out.
    2. Remove console by prying it down with your fingers. These pop right off.
    3. Remove driver A pillar cover to route the mike up.
    4. Move stock mike aside, and tape down the Pioneer mike in its place.
    Hope this helps!

Thank you! I’m going to try it next week end. The mic is already by the driver pillar up top so I’m halfway there.

My set was $1,350 shipped. I don’t believe the SR5 is as straight forward as the TRD trucks as they do not have the DRL already so the harness being produced will not work.

This thread is the thread to follow about the head lamps.

I think they mean LED DRLs.

I meant to say LED DRL. I’m not sure how it works.

I scored mine on eBay for $119. It included the wiper stalk. Easy plug and play install.

Howdy! I’m just renting now (Colorado) and the owner who built the house installed these like 20 years ago. I was actually a pretty avid climber in college but haven’t been back in the saddle in a few years. A little worried about trying these holds out since they are so old.

A good Father's Day, cold beer and more mods on the Tacoma. Oh ya, and my wonderful children stopped by for dinner.

Baja Designs ditch lights to a factory(ish) lookin switch. Also picked up a K&N mostly for the washable filter.

Sound deadened my outer skins of my front and rear doors. Also added a few strip to the inner skins just for good measure. Will do the back panel in a couple of weeks. Also upgraded the speakers to Infinity Kappa 2 ohm
3 way in the rear doors. Went with Infinity Kappa component 2 ohm in the front. Put the 6X9's in the front doors and the tweeters in the dash. All I can say is both together, the sound deadening and the speaker upgrade. This is going to be a much more pleasant place to spend time.
