Like many I have been a daily Tacomaworld member for a long time, and with that an avid daily browser on the forum combing through thread after thread. Although I don't intend to do any groundbreaking modifications or offroading with my current truck, I have found it very helpful when other users post detailed threads on their trucks and the "mods, if you will" they choose to take-on. Thought I would create a thread on the things I choose to do to my truck and my overall experience with it, if it helps a few people along the way than I'll feel satisfied.

Here is my 2018 Toyota Tacoma Sport DC 4x4 in super white as it currently stands.

    Current mods, bro:

    - 20% Suntek CXP Carbon tint all around besides the windshield
    - TufSkinz raised tailgate inserts
    - Black bedside decals from IMPORTequipment
    - Black OEM SR5 grill surround
    - BerryItDesigns phone mount from Etsy (Best purchase thus far for this truck)

The day I picked her up and traded-in my 1st gen (Really do miss that truck but wouldn't go back, maybe one day I'll own another as a more off-road dedicated rig)

    First "snow"

IMPORTequipment black bedside decals. Really happy with how these turned out

TufSkinz raised tailgate inserts. They've held up great so far after ~ 10K miles

OEM black Sr5 grill surround, super easy install/upgrade

Finally pulled the trigger on getting the lift installed. FOX 2.0 IFP up front and 2.0’s in the rear. Used the heavy metal 1 inch add a block in the rear. Ended cranking the fronts up roughly 5 turns, sits maybe 1/4 inch lower than the rear so there’s at least SOME rake still. Overall, probably about 2 inches up front and 1 inch in the rear

Went with the BJG K02’s in a 265/70/17, I was worried they’d look small but I was wrong. They look just perfect to me with the amount of lift I achieved and acceleration/deceleration still feels almost stock.

Not gonna lie, I thought this would be a timeline of slowly becoming dissatisfied with the color or some other sort of universal truth.

My 2017 Sport, err, I mean SR, err, I mean Sport, err, I mean......Ah, never mind, it's an SR with Sport take-off's that I picked up with 13 miles on them. WeatherTech mud flaps, OEM Gen 2 running boards, Rugged Liner tonneau, Subaru tweeter upgrade, intermittent wiper upgrade, cruise upgrade, remote door lock upgrade and tint. Never thought I'd own a white vehicle, but the truck just looks right in white! I do like the fact it has no badges or stickers anywhere.

Looks great without the badges, removing the Tacoma badges on the front doors is my next move. I never thought I would own a white vehicle either, but keeping it looking clean is really convenient compared to other vehicles I've owned! At this I wouldn't choose another color (At least for this vehicle), white looks great!

    Quite to the contrary.

Have you made a thread of slowly becoming dissatisfied with a 2wd or some other sort of universal truth? Or were you dissatisfied with that decision from the get-go?

Heres my super white taco. mine looked just like yours when it came home from the dealership lol. I'll probably be done with the build this summer when I get the lift kit installed. planning on installing the Bilstein 5100 with OMU 888 coils and the Icon AAL in the rear for a total of 2.5' in the front and 1.5 in the rear. My front end sits almost 1.5 inches lower than the rear at the moment lol
