    Nope.

    Apogee off-road makes one though....

    https://www.apogeeoffroad.com/shop/toyota-tacoma-rear-bumper-gen3

If my video combiner and cameras ever get here, I plan to put a camera on each end of the bumper facing sideways.

That way when the rev signal turns on I will have a view of the stock rear camera, and a sideways view from each end of the bumper all on my stock radio screen.

So my cross traffic alert becomes a cross traffic camera.

I never really found the BSM useful as there is no real blind spot on the side for these trucks for lane changes anyways.

I figured the stock sensors are rather delicate, expensive to replace and calibrate...
the CTA was one feature I did want to keep but all it does is beep at you...
If you're backing out of a ally or blind spot the beep don't tell you much,

So since I was adding a front Camera....
    things got out of hand...
And I came up with the Cross Traffic Camera Idea...
Saved a shitload of $ on a "regular" steel bumper since I could say f' the bsm... it's calibration and BS...

Then it got out of hand even more....
And the Birds Eye View and DVR system got ordered....

The combined rear video is easy to do, lol the birds-eye will be a pain in the butt for the side mirror cameras....

It has the backup sensor holes and mounts built into it though.

I learned that if you don't have the sensors, put the rubber plugs in BEFORE you mount the bumper :anonymous:.
    (lol 2 more to install)

Pete has the same bumper and he put some red lights in those spots and it looks sharp.

(it's when I saw his pics I decided that was the bumper for me also)

Whole bumper is cheaper than 1 BSM sensor!

It's outright rape what Toyota is charging for all this Nanny stuff.

I think it was something like 1200 for the divers side (master) and 800 for the passenger side sensor and something like 2-300 to calibrate... + install time... Rape....

Lol mine are nice and safe in the stock bumper, in a box, in the roof of my garage...
only way they'd last the life of the truck imho.

$672 at Rock Auto: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=9719844&cc=3354143&jsn=381 The high price even with an aftermarket brand suggests the technology is still expensive to manufacture.

The P/N 8816204010 when looked up on Toyota's site shows it's common for LH and RH. Interestingly, the P/N has gone through five supersessions to 8816204015, suggesting Toyota had to make a lot of changes to improve durability, similar to the GM-designed blower motor on 2nd gens.

Keep me in the loop on what you do. I've got a bumper waiting to get powdercoated in my garage. The cross traffic monitor is the one I have interest in. A bit interested in my bsm sensors. I had them go off once and I couldn't figure out why so I stopped. An idiot pedestrian was hiding behind a vehicle and they are what set them off. Not walking waiting for me to finish backing out but the sidepillars of the other car blocked them so I just stopped and waited there.

    I like that!
Looks easy enough to make also!

That design removes a hangup point!

I like the BA plug in one too though, but for a different reason...

Since it is now higher than most bumpers...

Helps protect my frame/bumper from "touch parkers" and people that are playing with their F'n phones when driving or at read lights.

    And at faster speeds...

Should slide their bumper under mine, so crash energy is dissipated to lift my truck, and their soft bits (rad support, hood, etc) absorb the rest of the energy.
Even if it's another truck, increases their damage/ energy absorption over what I get. :infantry:

    Call it "Urban Armour" lol

Most vehicles on the road are pickups and SUVs. At higher speeds, anything plugged into the hitch receiver is more likely to leverage the hitch 90 deg toward the ground (and the frame with it). That's why I don't even install my shackle adapter in the hitch until I'm at the trail head.

Accept and relax that no matter what, truck going be destroyed/damaged. That's if you wheel seriously, if you Subaru wheel kind of a dude around hammer town deep potholes and sudden construction sites than yes, it's very acceptable. :D

Think my Subaru with upsized tires can handle Minden? Or should I get a 2" lift first? :D
